How We got Started

In 2002 we bought a beautiful 4 month old yellow lab and had decided when he was old enough would send him to a trainer to learn hunting skills.    Spring 2003 we found a local trainer and left him our baby thinking we would get a fully functional hunter.  We soon found out that not only does the dog get trained but the owners too.  Our trainer got us involved in hunt tests and not to long after that we were hooked forever.  In the last 8 years my wife and I have learned so many tricks of the trade and gotten very involved in AKC Hunt Tests during the summer and hunting upland and waterfowl in the fall.  We decided to add more dogs to our family, so every other year we have added another pup.  We now have 5 labs, 3 are hunting dogs and 2 are our family pets, we opened Creekside Labs in 2008 and provide quality stud service to those interested in keeping and improving the quality of Labrador retrievers.
